EDGE OS1. Who we are
Vanik Edge ("we", "us") makes AI applications that run on a device inside your own building. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at info@vanikedge.ai.
2. What we never receive
Vanik Edge applications run on your device. The following stay on that device and are never sent to us:
- Documents, files and recordings your team uploads
- Questions, prompts and the answers the applications produce
- The names and records of the people in those documents

3. What we collect
When you contact us
Your name, work email, company, job title, country, industry and phone number, plus anything you tell us about your setup, such as team size, the apps you are interested in and your timeline. We also keep the emails and meeting notes that follow.
When you use a Vanik Edge device
On connected devices, we receive device health only: whether the device is running, its software version, storage and GPU load, and error codes. Air-gapped devices send us nothing. We also keep the names and work emails of the account owners and admins we support.
When you visit this website
Standard technical information our servers record, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
4. How we use it
- To reply to your request and arrange demos, pilots and quotes
- To deliver, support and update the devices you buy from us
- To keep our website and services secure and working
- To send product news, only if you agreed to receive it. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations
We rely on your consent, on steps needed to enter into or perform a contract with you, on our legitimate interest in running and improving our business, and on legal obligations, depending on the purpose. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it to train AI models.
6. International transfers
We work with customers around the world, so your information may be handled in countries other than your own. When that happens, we use safeguards recognised by applicable law, such as standard contractual clauses.
7. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to two years after our last contact with you, unless you become a customer. Customer and device records are kept for the length of the contract and for as long afterwards as the law requires. Then we delete or anonymise them.
8. Security
We protect personal information with encryption in transit, access controls and logging of staff access. No system is perfectly secure, but we will tell you and the relevant authorities promptly if a breach affects your information.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to show you, correct, delete or send you a copy of your personal information, or to stop or limit how we use it. You can withdraw consent at any time. Email info@vanikedge.ai and we will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Cookies
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser shares your IP address with Google when a page loads. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
11. Changes and contact
Our services are for businesses and are not directed at children. We may update this policy, and the date at the top will show when it last changed. For any privacy question, email info@vanikedge.ai.
